"Born and raised in Harlem,  I naturally became fond of music.  In 1996 when I was in high school at PS117 I would hear music playing at the store on 16th street as I left.  The store played many different genres from rap to reggae.  The sound quickly infected me and I became curious about who these artists were.  One day when I walked out of school to go home I went across the street to look at some of the CD's they had to offer.  From that point on I was determined to collect all my favorite artist's cd's.  As I grew older I wanted to start making my own beats and put my own personal touch on the music I loved."                                                                                                                                                                                                                  - Major
